Ode To French Fries

It's one of the age-old arguments: Who serves the best French Fries? (Yes. FRENCH Fries. I'll smack the russets out of anyone saying Freedom Fries).

Some say McDonalds. Some say In-and-Out (order 'em "Well Done").

However, the best are at Leeward Drive Inn in Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawaii.

These fries taste like they've been sitting in oil for at least two weeks. They can barely keep their starchy integrity and, with just a little mushing, could easily turn into mashed potatoes. In other words, they're perfect. No other fry comes close to matching Leeward's for texture, taste, and enjoyment.
