Okay, so what's going on?
I can understand marriages like Tory Spelling and Britney Spears fizzling out in a few days (or hours) since you really couldn't call those marriages.
But now we're seeing a trend of long-time marriages and supposedly stable relationships suddenly falling apart. David Hasselhoff and his wife, Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear, and now Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow.
What's going on?
I'm sorry, but all this divorce mania is starting to sound like it's trendy instead of something serious. Somehow, now that Brad and Jennifer are divorced, it gave all the other celebrity couples out there carte blanche to throw their marriages into the fire. If you've been with somebody 11 years, you oughta be able to reconcile unreconcilable differences. Don't just call it a day because supposed Uber-couple Brad and Jennifer fell apart.
